Big News!! An incredible honor for Oak Dermatology to be the exclusive U.S. clinic visited by China’s leading aesthetic physicians and top influencers, part of a global exchange organized by Fosun Sisram China, Revance Aesthetics’ partner in China, ahead of the Daxxify® launch.

The delegation spent the day with Dr. Jeffrey Hsu, observing injection techniques, discussing clinical science, and exchanging insights on the future of aesthetic dermatology.

We’re proud to represent a destination where clinical rigor, innovation, and education converge, and to share this milestone with colleagues advancing our field worldwide.

✨ Today we celebrate Biologic Coordinators Day! ✨

We’re grateful for our very own Cara Henning, who works tirelessly to guide patients through complex treatment journeys with care and compassion.

Here’s what she shared about her role:

"I am a Biologic Coordinator and an advocate for patients with chronic skin conditions. I facilitate the process for patients to obtain and remain on therapies that can tremendously improve their quality of life. I manage documentation for insurance authorizations, approvals, appeals and patient assistance programs ensuring patients receive timely and effective biologic treatments by bridging clinical care with required administrative requirements. I am also the liaison between the patient, specialty pharmacies and insurance companies while offering compassionate and individualized support.

Helping patients access and manage complex biologic treatments that improve their quality of life is very rewarding. Each day offers new challenges such as navigating complicated insurance and prior authorization processes, patient financial hurdles, specialty pharmacies and medication delivery. I take pride in being the patient's advocate, helping them through a process that can be overwhelming."
