a parent that controls the emotional tone of the entire house
a partner whose fear of rejection takes up all the space
a friend whose anxiety controls all the plans

we can all heal with the support of other people. but they can’t do our work for us.

instead, we have to understand why our reactions may be outsized for situations. heal what needs attention. and state needs in a clear way.

healing isn’t just for you- it’s for everyone in your life. less co-dependence, less grudges, more space, more ability to converse.

That tug-of-war inside— It happens when different parts of you dig in, each believing they know what’s best.

Because at different times in your life, they’ve probably both been right.

The way forward isn’t shutting one side down—it’s slowing down enough to listen to both.

You can only end the tug of war by getting connected with all of it.

When each part feels heard, the inner battle eases and you can move with more clarity.
