Laying the groundwork for success!!

Adopting weekly meal and food preparation is a vital strategy to ensure success throughout the week.

By doing so, you can effectively manage temptations and cravings while decreasing your dependence on eating out, illustrating just a few advantages of embracing this healthy habit.

Weekends can feel like brief vacations. Specially when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle. We trick ourselves in believing that weekend calories don’t count. Or it’s ok, cuz I’ll work it off or do better starting..Monday.

Truth is, you have to stay CONSISTENT all week including the weekends. Or just find yourself getting this stuck frustrated, and discouraged.

Here are 10 helpful tips to help you stay on track even through the weekends.

1. Stay active. Do something you enjoy.
2. Continue to get in your water intake.
3. Take time to relax.
4. Eat before going out. So you won’t be tempted to hit up that fast food joint.
5. Limit your alcohol consumption.
6. Don’t eat late.
7. Look at the menu before you go out, choose a healthier option that is tasty.
8. Have one splurge meal. But, take half of it home, and enjoy it the next day.
9. Catch up on sleep.
10. Do some self care

Make sure you stay hydrated throughout the day. Here’s a simple math problem to make sure you’re drinking enough water daily 👇🏼

Take your body weight divided by 2 then divided by 8 equals how many cups you need a day.

Had a wonderful lunch today with friends, and we went to Bob Evans.

You can eat out and eat healthy at the same time. This salad was absolutely delicious.  I didn’t even use dressing. Most of all I did not feel like I was missing out on any of the other dishes that were tempting to get. 😊
