I am a non-profit organization and rely on help by good animal loving people like you. Welcome to our page where we are dedicated to saving and caring for feral felines in our community through the power of education and the practice of TNR. My name is Rusti, and I have built a little bit of kitty heaven. I am dedicated to saving as many ferals as I can and am passionate about educating others on how to combat the astronomical numbers of feral cats world wide ! I release most ferals I trap but will keep all kittens, pregnant mommas and sick or injured kits. The kits I have at my facility now are ones that never left once released or have a lower survival rate in the swamp, so I have integrated them into my existing colony. It's hard work and it's not cheap, but I do what I can with what I've got. Well, thankfully, the kits were just playing with a new rope toy that I had marinated in some nippies then threw on the floor. I just added the meeces for fun. 🐁🐁🐁🐁

This little man is growing up so fast and has such an amazing purrrsonality !! I am constantly in awe of his saturation over the EMC. He adapted immediately, and what's even more impressive is how 99% of the kits here took to him and accepted him immediately too ! I never claim to have favorites, but you know that every now and then, there is that one kit. That one kit that stands out and is undeniable. Baby Hal is one of those kits. He got his final vaccine the other day at the vet office and I took his picture as he was preening for everybody there who was doting on him.

Around this time of year, sometimes I get asked " what do you & the kits need " ? I am always grateful for your help year round and right now we need your help for a BIG surgery date !! Three of the ' Nuts ' have been scheduled next week to have all their teeth removed due to the dreaded Stomatitis. If you are unfamiliar with this disease, it is extremely painful and causes severe inflammation of the entire mouth, including the gingiva (gum tissue around the teeth) and mucous membranes. I have tried to manage it, but it has come to a point where surgery is the only option. Todays visit alone set us back $600 and the surgeries will no doubt be in the thousands. ANY AMOUNT YOU CAN SHARE IS APPRECIATED. It all adds up and this is a big deal. Pistachio, Almond Joy & Brazil are all in desperate need of this surgery.
