Moorings Park at Grey Oaks' Welcome Back & Boogie Bash was a smash! 🕺🪩

Thank you to all the residents and guests who joined us as we celebrated the start of a new season together. The night was filled with warm reunions and the kind of boogie-filled energy that makes our community shine. ✨

Belladiva really struck a chord, keeping the crowd on their feet and in the groove! And our dining team? They served up pure perfection with delicious bites and specialty drinks. It was the recipe for a tastefully unforgettable evening.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make the event such a success and to all who came ready to celebrate. It was a sparkling reminder of the connection and fun that make Moorings Park at Grey Oaks such a vibrant place to call home. Here’s to an exciting season ahead!

Moorings Park Communities was honored to welcome Dr. Roger Landry, MD, MPH, a leading expert in preventive medicine and successful aging, for an enlightening presentation hosted by our Successful Aging Team.

Dr. Landry, author of “Live Long, Die Short: A Guide to Authentic Health and Successful Aging,” shared his Ten Tips for Successful Aging, offering practical insights on living longer, healthier, and more purposeful lives.

With his extensive background, including training at Tufts University School of Medicine and Harvard University School of Public Health, and his work as President and Chief Content Officer of Masterpiece, Dr. Landry inspired residents and partners to take an active role in their own wellness journeys. His message reinforced that true longevity is built on connection, curiosity, and joy.

This event beautifully reflected our mission at Moorings Park Communities of empowering seniors to thrive at every age through education, engagement, and purpose. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Landry and all who joined us for this impactful and uplifting experience. 🌟

Moorings Park’s tropical-themed Welcome Back Party was truly one for the books! 🌺🌅 With cool Florida November weather adding a refreshing coastal touch, residents gathered in front of the clubhouse to enjoy lively music, delicious food, and warm community spirit.

As Captn Jac set the tone with island tunes and Jimmy Buffett favorites, guests enjoyed everything from the raw bar to tender pork shoulder and a variety of flavorful bites. The hugs, laughter, and joyful reunions throughout the evening were a beautiful reminder of how lucky we are to share this vibrant community with such wonderful people.

Thank you to everyone who came out and brought your enthusiasm, positivity, and smiles. Here’s to an incredible season ahead filled with exciting events, cherished friendships, and unforgettable memories! 💜

From Safari Night to Margaritaville, Hats in the Park to Girls Just Want to Have Sun, Moorings Park Grande Lake's Ladies’ Night In adventures just keep getting more memorable.

For their latest soirée, our incredible ladies packed their “passports” and set off on a global adventure inside the clubhouse (no jet lag here!) as they took off on a whirlwind trip “Around the World.” From the charm of Paris to the vibrancy of Tokyo and beyond, every “destination” was first class, filled with laughter, friendship, and flavors worth writing home about.🍷🧳

Moorings Park Communities' residents and guests came together to honor the Bower Chapel's 25th anniversary and rededication with a truly unforgettable closing concert ⛪

Under the masterful direction of Dr. Trent Brown, the FGCU Bower School of Music & the Arts Chamber Chorus filled the chapel with soaring harmonies and artistry. The chorus embodied the spirit of collaboration and excellence that defines both our community and the Bower Chapel’s legacy.

In celebration of the final rededication event, the choir premiered a newly commissioned choral and organ composition by esteemed Latvian Composer Jēkabs Jančevskis. The piece beautifully reflected the Bower Chapel’s mission: to unite people through the universal language of music and to celebrate the harmony between tradition, faith, and innovation.

The evening also featured heartfelt remarks from Dan Lavender and Dolly Bodick Korest, followed by a lovely reception in the Korest Plaza, where attendees gathered to share memories, conversation, and community spirit. 🎶❤️
