In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, residents at Moorings Park at Grey Oaks gathered for an elegant floral arranging class led by Susan Santiago of Bunches of Love Botanicals, a certified educator and floral designer known for creating immersive, multi-sensory experiences that inspire creativity and connection through botanicals. 🌹

Surrounded by soft hues and fragrant stems, residents explored artful, approachable techniques for crafting beautiful arrangements while gaining insight into composition, balance, and color. Susan also shared expert tips to help blooms remain fresh and vibrant well beyond the holiday, allowing each thoughtfully designed creation to be enjoyed for days to come. 💐

Love and gratitude filled the air at Moorings Park Grande Lake’s Valentine’s Day Partner Appreciation gathering, where partners were welcomed with thoughtful gifts and a flurry of sweet treats as a token of thanks for the hard work and trusted relationships that help the community thrive. ❤️🌹

The highlight of the afternoon was a debut performance by The Valentinos, the community’s resident singing group, who delighted guests with Grande Lake–inspired lyrics set to classic tunes. Their customized verses offered a charming tribute to the partners whose support helps bring daily life here to life. 🎶

The day concluded with a Valentine’s Day cocktail party, where residents gathered to enjoy the evening in true holiday style. With themed décor and warm conversation, it was a lovely way to toast friendship and the shared moments that make life at Moorings Park Grande Lake so vibrant, a fitting reminder that these connections serve as the heartbeat of the community.

An extraordinary evening of music filled Moorings Park’s Bower Chapel as acclaimed organist Renée Anne Louprette delivered a powerful performance.

Shaped by her leadership as director of the American Guild of Organists National Competition in Organ Improvisation and her roles as assistant professor of music, college organist, and director of the Bard Baroque Ensemble at Bard College, Louprette’s work as a recitalist and conductor brought remarkable depth, precision, and emotion to every selection.

Her thoughtfully curated program featured works by J.S. Bach, Élisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre, and Leoš Janáček.
