I had a bunch of fresh peaches and we were seriously craving cobbler… but I also wanted to keep it nourishing. So, I got creative in the kitchen!

I whipped up my own recipe using freshly ground oats, almond milk, and a few other key clean ingredients—and BOOM! A delicious treat that feels like a hug in a bowl.

Behind the scenes update 💻🛠️
I just finished transforming my son’s old room into a dedicated office space. It’s a big step forward in creating more clarity and focus for my work — and I’m so excited for what’s to come.

As I set up each piece, I couldn’t help but reflect on the years he spent growing up in this room. So many memories, so much love. ❤️ It’s bittersweet with emphasis on the “sweet”. It feels right — a new season for both of us.

✅ FACT: Whole food starches can actually help you lose weight and improve your heart health.❤️💪🏻

Let’s clear this up once and for all…
NOT ALL starches are created equal.
Processed carbs like white bread and sugary snacks? Not your friend.

There’s been a lot going on lately—so much change, which can stir up deep emotions for all of us whether it’s good or bad change.

So, I took a step back and went to visit my sister at the beach. The waves, the breeze, the laughter, the quiet moments—all reminded me how important it is to reconnect.

To reconnect with yourself.
To reconnect with family.
To reconnect with what brings you joy.

Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do for your health is to pause. Breathe. Be present. ✨

If life feels a little heavy or fast-moving right now, it’s okay to take time for yourself.

It starts in the mind. 💭

Before we ever see results in our health, relationships, or life—we must first be renewed in our thinking.
We have to let go of old patterns, doubts, and limiting beliefs.
True transformation begins when we allow God to shift our mindset.

✨ Romans 12:2 says,
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

Here’s the truth:
Your body believes everything you tell it. ✨Everything!✨
If you constantly speak negativity over yourself, your body will carry that weight.
But when you speak life, healing, strength, and purpose—your body begins to respond accordingly.

God tells us:
🌿 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Believe Him! ❤️

If you want to manifest lasting change, don’t just work on your body—renew your mind.
Speak life.
Think truth.
Believe in the promises of God.

Let’s check in… ✨🌿

It’s so easy to let the busyness of life pull us away from our health goals. We get distracted, overwhelmed, and before we know it—we’re off track. But that doesn’t mean we stay off track. 💡

Today, I’m choosing to refocus.
Getting back to the basics that help me feel my best:
✔️ Going for a walk
✔️ Drinking plenty of water
✔️ Eating at least 10 servings of fruits and veggies
✔️ Taking time to meditate and breathe
✔️ Doing something that makes me genuinely happy

Life will always happen. But we don’t have to let it derail our progress.
We refocus, recommit, and restart as many times as we need to. 💛

What’s one thing you can do today to bring your focus back to your health goals?

Nurture your body and it will take care of you…

🌱 Choose Joy, Choose Health 🌞

Yesterday, we took a little trip to get fresh vegetables from the Mennonites with my sweet mother-in-law — and it was such a beautiful experience. 🥕🍅🌽

Simple moments like these — connecting with loved ones, slowing down, and nourishing our bodies with fresh, whole foods — are what real health is all about.

✨ Joy is healing.
✨ Laughter is medicine.
✨ Community is powerful.

As a health coach, I believe that true wellness comes from the inside out. And sometimes, the healthiest choice you can make… is choosing to do something that brings you joy.

Seven things I wish people knew about cardiovascular disease.... ✨❤️✨

1. There aren't always symptoms.

2. People with good cholesterol can have cardiovascular disease.

3. There's no option to simply ignore it.

4. It can be emotionally and mentally challenging on top of physical.

5. Certain foods and stress are highly inflammatory to the cardiovascular system.

6. People with cardiovascular disease are WARRIORS! They show up and fight every day.

7. With the help of a health coach, cardiovascular disease can be prevented, delayed and even reversed.✨
