We were proud to celebrate Black History Month with two unforgettable and meaningful experiences for our residents 💛🎶

The Crestmoor at Green Hills was honored to host a special performance by Nashville Opera, paying tribute to the groundbreaking legacy of Marian Anderson, the first Black woman to perform at the Metropolitan Opera. Our celebration continued with an inspiring visit to the National Museum of African American Music, where residents explored the powerful influence of African American artists on music and culture.

It was a month filled with reflection, learning and appreciation for a legacy that continues to shape the arts and our world today.

Our visit came just ahead of The Aspenwood Company’s monthly collaborative course with Juilliard School, where this month’s topic is Becoming the Beatles! 🎶📸

It may be cold outside, but we know how to stay warm at The Crestmoor at Green Hills ❄️🤍

This weekend, we hosted a Snowed-In Social and invited our members to dress in their winter whites bringing plenty of warmth, smiles and fun indoors. It was the perfect way to stay cozy and connected while the temperatures dropped outside.
