Giving a big shout out to Tennessee Governor Bill Lee for stopping by and hanging our with us. We were given the distinct honor of hosting his Healthy Families Diaper initiative. Major props for going on Facebook Live with me to market the event. This initiative provides free diapers to Tennessee children up to their 2nd birthday, which significantly reduces family expenses. We feel honored to be 1 of 3 pharmacies in the Nashville partnering with the State in this program.

The day was very busy and wouldn't have been a success without my team Artie Thomas Sr. Chris Hall Ethan John and Nurse Practitioner Belinda Hatcher. I also want to thank The Pharmacy Division of Tenncare for volunteering to help out with the large crowd. So a big thanks to Dr Renee Williams-Clark Dr Tracey Lovett Dr Lora Underwood, and Amy Lawrence for coordinating the event.

The lesson: Work hard to bring value to the planet and big opportunities will come your way.

Today, we celebrate 12 years of Pruitt's Discount Pharmacy taking care of the hood. Now we are heading to the woods. Our mission statement is " Increasing access to healthcare services and information in underserved communities. The rural areas of middle Tennessee are definitely underserved with the closures of hospitals/pharmacies and the retirement of local Drs. A big Thank You to Jeff Hughes, Chairman of the Macon County Fair in Lafayette, TN for being very hospitable and allowing us to set up a tent for health education and screening.
