Feeling puffy, sluggish, or inflamed? Your lymphatic system may need support.
The lymphatic system plays a vital role in immune function, detoxification, and fluid balance — yet it doesn’t have a pump like the heart. It relies on movement, hydration, mineral balance, and proper drainage to function well.
When lymph becomes congested, you may notice:
• Swelling or puffiness
• Frequent infections
• Skin flare-ups
• Fatigue or brain fog
✨ Here’s a simple lymphatic drainage massage flow based on the graphic:
1️⃣ Start at the neck (always clear the exit first).
Using very light pressure, gently stretch the skin downward toward the collarbones 5–10 times. This helps open the main drainage ducts.
2️⃣ Move to the collarbone and underarm areas.
Lightly pump toward the center of the chest and toward the armpits to stimulate major lymph nodes.
3️⃣ Massage the abdomen.
Use gentle circular motions moving toward the groin area. The abdomen houses a large concentration of lymphatic tissue.
4️⃣ Support the groin crease.
Lightly sweep upward from the thighs toward the groin nodes.
5️⃣ Move up the arms and legs.
Always stroke upward toward the nearest lymph node cluster (toward armpits for arms, toward groin for legs). Use feather-light pressure — lymph is just under the skin.
💛 Key reminders:
• Pressure should be gentle, not deep
• Move slowly and rhythmically
• Stay hydrated afterward
• Stop if painful
Gentle drainage support doesn’t mean aggressive cleansing. It means encouraging flow so your body can do what it was designed to do.
