If you think the Democrats are the only issue in this country, you have some partisan bias. Conservatives do not need to behave like cult members by approving of every move made by Republican representatives. That’s a liberal characteristic. The weaponization of investigative assets and covering up crimes on behalf of peers is very common in Republican dominated governments.

This is the hospital your Spring Hill BOMA voted for and somehow, they were convinced it was in the best interest of the citizens. It’s not and it’s never going to be. They like to argue “data” so here’s the data. It isn’t isolated. It’s nationwide. Citizens are going to suffer because your BOMA ignored the data. And none of them will ever admit it.

City of Spring Hill, TN BOMA, your argument is that the approval of an HCA hospital is for the wellbeing of citizens? What about HCA being sued for purposefully driving up medical costs? You approve of a corporation purposefully doing this to your citizens? The North Carolina Attorney General got involved in this lawsuit because HCA couldn’t provide the healthcare they promised. This is negligent and demonstrates significant incompetence on your behalf.

When you start digging into elected or formerly elected officials making exaggerated pushes to support corporations moving into their city/county, $$$ is typically the motivator. When you start digging into backgrounds, you tend to quickly discover that companies they own or are affiliated with are connected to the corporation in some way.

This is why the Libertarian Party has imploded and membership has plummeted. Entire state chapters are abolishing their chapters. The Mises Libertarians, which took over in 2022, are knocking on the door of extremism. This opinion isn't isolated to him. A lot of Mises Libertarians believe this, which has driven traditional Libertarians from the party.
