EMDR Therapy with kids does not always look like what one learns in EMDR Basic Training. The differences in attention spans and developmental abilities are just a few of the barriers clinicians can run into. This 6 hour live training will help simplify what EMDR with children can look like. Practical tools will be taught that can be used in all 8 phases of EMDR that are both kid friendly and budget friendly for the therapist. Challenges such as how to involve parents in the EMDR process as well as how to work with children resistant to treatment, will all be addressed.

This course is an advanced course for EMDR trained Therapists. It is appropriate for psychologists, social workers, MFT’s, counselors, interns, pastoral counselors, chaplains who have been trained in EMDR Therapy.
