Santa Muerte asks that we pray for those of her followers who are incarcerated and held against their will. Mother, watch over and protect all your children, and let us all meet the Good Death when our time comes. May all suffering come to an end, especially for those who feel so completely helpless and alone in their pain. May you bless your children daily with love, protection, freedom, and joy. Amen πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’€β€οΈ

The more your participate in magic, prayer, and ritual, the more effective your spellwork becomes. Lifting the energy of magic and directing its flow is like working a muscle; it grows and becomes more dexterous with use. If your practice is sporadic and your faith fleeting, then the ability to craft a successful outcome is weakened. Start small, and one day you will lift heavy πŸ’ͺ✨️

I sincerely believe that everything is sacred, that everything contains energy and power under the surface, the same way the ocean contains multitudes of fish we never see 🌊 The Divine is present in all objects, moments, places, people, even those that appear to only be profane bc evil proves goodness and offers us a chance to fight it, and thereby prove goodness within ourselves. People laugh at a life of prayer or a life that elevates mundane moments to magical ones, but for me, living any other way is living with blinders on or choosing to be colorblind. Let no one dim your shine or convince you that you don't feel what you feel bc trust me, it's there ✨️

Another piece of advice from the saints and mystics concerning the spiritual "dry spell" : Don't change your good habits. If there are good things you've been doing that have previously been beneficial to your spirit, keep up those habits, even if you don't actually feel or see benefits. Attend ritual or church, pray, meditate, and keep up offerings in expectation of the Divine's imminent return. Also, do not add new practices to your routine in a desperate search for God's presence; chances are, it won't work, and the addition of a good practice without results will just be confusing and hard to maintain in the long run. The emotions that come with the dry spell are already complex, so it is best to stick with what you already know works for you. Continue watering the seed, secure in the knowledge that it will surely germinate with time, but be hesitant about adding fancy new fertilizers that could burn the roots πŸ™πŸΌπŸŒ±πŸŒ»

What are you supposed to do when you experience the spiritual "dry spell" I mentioned in my last post? Firstly, it is good to stop, think, and ask yourself a few questions. Do you still love the Divine even when it's not in the room? Do you still love the Divine when doors you're trying to pry open stay shut? Do you still love the Divine when you don't get what you want? Do you still pray even when you don't have anything to ask for? Often the distinct absence and loneliness felt in this time is a test of our sincerity and faith. Are you God's fair weather friend only? Do you only adore the Universal Creator when it gives you exactly what you want all the time? Have you learned to love the wisdom gained from a closed door or a missed opportunity, or to see the love in a wish that is not granted? We must ask ourselves these things so that we can begin to cultivate a true faith in the Divine that has nothing to do with granted petitions or a felt presence so that we are able to see the "dry spell" as an opportunity to learn, grow, and give love with the expectation of nothing as a gift in return (nothing is the gift). After all, how can we learn to cherish what we don't have an opportunity to long for? Take the time also as a rest from spiritual rigors, one that prepares you and allows you to save up strength for the next rung of the spiritual ladder πŸ™πŸ•ŠπŸŒ

Magic comes and goes. Everything has its cycles, and there will be times where you work miracles, contrasting sharply with times where you can barely hear God's voice, let alone cast a spell. The key thing is to remember that there is nothing wrong with this. Saints and mystics throughout the ages have written of this "dry spell," and they also wrote of the surety that it will end. God tries to show us that everything comes in cycles with the example placed right in front of us, such as seasons, phases of the moon, planetary movements, the tides, and life cycles of animals and plants. Therefore do not be be discouraged by the seeming absence of the Divine, just know that all things go fallow, even you, and all things bloom again in the Spring 🌱🌷

I know that many come to posts like mine looking for innocuous magical advice or manifestation mantras, but the truth is that doing internal healing is the most powerful manifestation technique of all. Without calming the waters inside yourself, at least to some degree, highly successful magic will not be possible. You will not reach your fullest potential as a wizard when you let trauma and troubles ride front seat with you into all your spellwork. That is why I drop philosophy and encourage pagans and Christo-pagans to heal and stop sh****ng on each other. To piggyback off my last post, I'd also like to say that projection is a hell of a drug. A person who is undergoing severe stress, whatever the source may be, may start to assign their feelings and pain to others as a way of avoiding that internal work and facing up to said pain. This can come in the form of trying to tear people down who are perceived as a threat (who are literally just living their life), deciding who and what another person is or thinks based on what you yourself feel inside, or assigning intention to innocuous acts that were never done with the thought of causing you pain. This kind of behavior does no favors to the projector, the projectee, or their community at large. In fact it actually holds us all back from making positive progress for alternative faiths. How are we supposed to move forward when the guy next to you is trying to trip his neighbors? If we could choose cooperation over competition, there is absolutely no limit to what could be accomplished, magic or mundane πŸ™βœ¨οΈπŸ’–

pagan poverty mentality is a belief that being spiritual means being broke. That to want money is somehow impure. That charging for magical services is greedy.

I have noticed a collective thing lately that involves the inability of people to keep their eyes on their own paper πŸ‘€ What I mean by this is that there is a lot of chaotic energy swirling, a lot of things that are making our auras feel like tv static and our emotions run hot with anger or fear. In circumstances like this, it is a normal human response to assign a target for these feelings, especially when they are not our own energetically and we are having trouble processing that. Our bodies are designed to look for danger when we receive a danger signal, and we sometimes tend to look outside of ourselves and find a scapegoat to declare a threat. That's when the eyes go roving for a target. Here is where there is a problem: people are more ready to believe that another person or group is a threat before they are ready to believe that something is collectively or energetically wrong, changing, or experiencing movement. They are also more ready to blame others than blame themselves, or to rant online instead of sit in meditation. Externalizing is way easier than taking responsibility for your feelings, but the latter actually the more grounded path (and I know ya'll know that). Warring against people who are just trying to survive will not fix you. Attacking someone or tearing them down will not help you shine your light; in fact, it will help you in no way. Spiritual people should know better truthfully. Take care of yourself during these times, and keep those eyes glued to your own path πŸ™πŸ•ŠπŸŒŽ
