these How He Made Me Minis have just been making my heart swell!!!!

giving these kiddos celebration and just calling out what is so sweet in them!!! to name how the Lord has made them!
to stop time in this season and document what they are loving.
to see their relationship in this season.

when just a few minutes of your life looks like this🥹

that's the thing i love most about my job.
i get to give you back your life.

i just won't ever be about curating something like i am shooting for a magazine or something -- nope! that's not my heart.

my heart is to give you back what your actual life looks like.
i am shooting for 10, 20, 40 years from now when your babies hold these images and they see the mother you were.
their childhood.
the way their dad loved you.
and them.
how their smile has always been contagious.
how they see the way they fit into your family like they always belonged.

that's what i am shooting for & giving back to you.
it's not about a curation.
a pinterest board.
a vision.

it's about what is already good.

i can raise my hand and in honesty say — i am not a summer girlie. ⁣
i don’t love the heat. ⁣
i don’t love the feeling of not being able to get comfortable temperature wise. ⁣
i am not a massive fan of the bugs. ⁣
don’t get me started on the ticks…⁣

but you know one of the things that make me excited for it?? or at least, have vision for it?! ⁣

starting this week off with a little peek into the sweetest moment with E + B 🥹🫶🏻⁣

they read each other letters while holding each others hands so tightly. ⁣
they didn’t let go until emeigh asked if they could close their eyes and just hug 😭⁣
⁣
there wasn’t a dry eye. ⁣
their love was so evident. ⁣
it was more than just words. ⁣
all day long you saw it displayed in fullness. ⁣
the way they continued to choose each other. ⁣
it ended with their pastor praying over them. ⁣
⁣
i won’t ever get over getting to see these parts of yalls lives. what a gift!! 🤎

one of the honors God gifted me in this life is to see how He made them!!!

proof that you’re doing “enough.”⁣

likes. comments. bookings. ⁣

we pursue reward all the time. ⁣
& society tells us a lot of what that looks like. ⁣
⁣
but i keep coming back to this. ⁣
Christ is the reward. ⁣
⁣
not the life He builds for us.⁣
not the doors He opens.⁣
or making 10k a month. ⁣
or hitting six figures. ⁣
or finally having a dream answered. ⁣
⁣
it’s not being a wife. it’s Him. ⁣
it’s not business being a “success”. it’s Him. ⁣
it’s not six figures. it’s Him. ⁣
it’s not dream photo shoots. it’s Him. ⁣
it’s not 20k followers. it’s Him. ⁣
it’s not bigger houses. it’s Him. ⁣
it’s not being a mother. it’s Him. ⁣
it’s not x, y & z. it’s Him.⁣

He’s the reward. ⁣
His nearness.⁣
His voice.⁣
His steadiness when everything else feels uncertain.⁣

getting it all and losing Him is still a 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘴.⁣
losing it all and finding Him is still a win.⁣

every good thing here is just meant to give Him glory and experience more of Him. ⁣

at the end — it all matters if He is the reward. ⁣
