Laser season is here, and here’s what you need to know before you book. 🔆
These are some of our favorite treatments to do now because they help clear sun damage, even tone, and improve texture, so by summer, you feel confident going lighter on makeup, or even makeup-free.
A lot of patients are excited about HALO BBL, but hesitant about downtime. The truth is, it is very manageable. The first 48 to 72 hours are typically the peak for swelling. Some patients swell very little. Others wake up a bit puffy. It passes quickly.
With HALO BBL, you will notice a sandpaper texture and tiny dark spots on the skin. That is pigment and sun damage rising to the surface. Around days 5 to 7, it begins to shed, and that is when you start to see the clarity and brightness come through.
If we are treating with BBL alone for hyperpigmentation, downtime is typically lighter. Mild swelling around the eyes can still happen, especially if we are targeting vascularity or sun damage there, and that is completely normal.
If you have been considering it, this is the season to do it. Book your consultation through the link in our bio. 🤍
