Client Spotlight!!
Alicia came to me after putting her body through the wringer due to health complications and having MULTIPLE surgeries plus almost a week in the hospital. She expressed just wanting to feel like herself again.
After a little bit of hard work, sacrifice and maybe a little less wine 😉, she’s come out stronger, leaner and more confident.
I’m an incredibly proud coach. Alicia always took what I said and applied it in her life. She asked questions and learned a lot. Also forgave herself for not being perfect and just putting the “bad” days to the wayside and moving forward.

Getting off the wagon and outta shape sucks but it goes to show you that life happens and sometimes even though fitness is important to you that you get knocked down by surgeries or sickness or large life events. I got knocked on my ass by surgeries but over the past 7 months I have worked extremely hard. Yes I had some bad days but I kept going. Thanks to who kept me on track with my nutrition 25 pounds gone and 5 inches off my waist! Still not finished but taking a few month maintenance break to let my body not be in such a large deficit.

Now how many times have you felt like in order to “diet” or lose weight you have to cut these things out?
Guess what? You don’t have to!!! Let yourself have the treat, just be smart about it. Weigh out an actual serving size or choose something that is single serving. Lots of macro friendly options out there. ⬆️ these are a few of my faves.

Meet my friend Kim. 3 years ago Kim entrusted me with helping her with her nutrition. She was an absolute ROCKSTAR to coach. After having her own amazing success she decided to take the step forward in bringing that change and health to others. Working with Sabrina changed my life in all the ways. I learned how to eat to fuel my body and how to not carry guilt about certain foods. Nutrition and exercise became a lifestyle, not something I had to do to look or feel a certain way. It became a passion so much so that I decided to go through the same program she did to get certified in order to help others find health in all areas of their lives as well. Check this girl out! Analee is on fire 🔥!!! Today she officially passed her goal of losing 100 lbs! Yes, you read that right, One-Hundred-Pounds!! 🤩
She has been a joy to coach. Analee puts in the work in all areas. She gets her workouts in, she grocery shops with a plan, takes the breaks when recommended, and trusts me even when it may seem scary.
The second picture is of her wedding ring fitting on her finger for the first time in over 5 years 💍 🙌🏼.

The face you make when you realize 15 lbs heavier, you still kinda got it 😉.
My focus in the last year has been to rebuild muscle that I lost from atrophy and obvious less use post surgery. Which means eating more food.
So to do two muscle ups in a row today made me feel good!
Now that I feel like I’ve rebuilt some muscle, time to shed some body fat and be able to see that hard work.

Do yourself a favor, if you like Chick-fil-A, go to to Costco and find these. We grab 2-3 bags at a time. Great to add to a salad for lunch, or the with some vegetables. Even a quick and easy lunch or after school snack for the kids.

Super lazy day today. Skipped the gym because roads were supposed to be icy. Aubrie’s soccer got cancelled also. So the kiddos and I decided to do a 20 minute emom and max effort planks.
I am terrible at planks. Always have been, so I’m thinking of incorporating them more often and try and hit a 5 minute plank in 6 months.
Set a timer and post your max plank time.

Did ya miss me? Lol. I had someone message me the other day asking if I was still coaching since I haven’t posted since August. 😳. Whoops. Yes, I absolutely am still coaching. Let’s be real 2020 didn’t need to be documented so I took a leave of absence from IG.
But I’m back! No promises to how often but I’ll try!
Tell me the best thing that happened to you or your family in 2020? I’ll start.
In July my husband quit his job of 15 years and had a complete career change. It’s been wonderful. He’s happier, less stressed, and we actually get to see him now!
