Send Me Back Saturday ✨

It’s hard to believe it’s been 13 years since I was first introduced to Original Strength™ and co-founder Tim Anderson.

When I attended my first workshop in 2013, I had no idea it would spark not only my own physical healing — but an entirely new career path. 🤯💫

Since then, it’s been such a gift to share Original Strength™ RESETS and witness powerful transformations in others. ❤️
Some highlights along the way:

✨ Introducing hundreds to RESETS through Alzheimer’s Tennessee events, webinars, and caregiver workshops
✨ Presenting to 100+ attendees at a local Parkinson’s Foundation event
✨ Guest speaking for Vanderbilt Neurology Parkinson’s support groups
✨ Leading weekly chair-based movement classes for independent & assisted living, as well as memory care residents
✨ Sharing RESETS as a tool for calming the nervous system during a Mind, Body, Soul workshop at church

Truly…the gift that keeps on giving. 🎁💖
So grateful for this journey—and for every person I’ve been honored to move alongside.

Happy Saturday! 🤩💖💫🙏

💙

Two years ago, I experienced a moment that forever changed my heart and my work.

I had the absolute privilege of teaching my very first chair exercise class to Memory Care residents—and the joy in that room was pure magic. ✨

Using gentle movements, Original Strength™ RESETS, simple strength and brain training (yes… pool noodles! 🟢), these residents moved their bodies for 45 full minutes without ever leaving their chairs. The smiles, the engagement, the connection… unforgettable. 🪑💞

Research continues to show that regular, appropriate movement can support cognitive function, balance, coordination, and quality of life for those living with dementia and Alzheimer’s. But beyond the science, these classes offer something just as powerful: dignity, confidence, and human connection.

💙 The week of February 14–21 is Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care Education Week, and I share this in honor of my late mother, who lived with Alzheimer’s for over 10 years and spent the final 4½ years of her life in Memory Care. She remains my “why.”

Movement matters.
Connection matters.
And every single moment of joy matters.

Together, we can continue to support lives filled with movement, vitality, and heart.

✨ Way Back Wednesday ✨

In January 2014, I completed one of the most challenging certifications of my life:
StrongFirst Level 2 Kettlebell Instructor Certification. 💪

At 55 years old, I was pretty sure I was the oldest woman in the room… until I met a stunning former ballerina who had me beat by 17 years. 🤯 Talk about perspective.

That weekend was a powerful reminder that the human body is capable of extraordinary things when we care for it — at any age.

While my approach to fitness has evolved since then, I’m deeply grateful for every season where I chose to step outside my comfort zone and challenge myself. Those experiences shaped how I work with clients today.

My focus now?
✨ Moving well
✨ Feeling good
✨ Staying strong, mobile, and resilient for decades to come

I specialize in working with the mature body — from women in their 50s noticing changes in strength and mobility, to Baby Boomers navigating stiffness, balance, and mobility challenges, to residents with Parkinson’s who want to remain engaged in daily life.

I also teach chair-based movement and fitness classes in senior living communities designed to reduce fall risk, improve balance and coordination, increase participation, and boost confidence, while always preserving dignity and safety. The goal is simple: help residents feel capable, confident, and more willing to move. When residents feel safe and successful with movement, participation increases — and that’s where real progress begins.

If you’re looking for a trainer who gets it — and meets your body where it is — let’s talk.

Happy Saturday! Stay warm and safe this weekend! 🧣🧤❄️

Some nights don’t ask you to do more.
They ask you to slow down.

To sit in the quiet.
To notice the warmth in the room.
To let your thoughts move a little slower than usual.

Not everything needs to be solved tonight.
Tomorrow will still be there — rested minds handle it better.

Save this for the nights you need permission to pause 🌙

Happy Thursday! Everyone please stay warm and safe! 🧣🧤❄️☃️

My Story

PJ Olsen is an expert in physical wellness with a focus on strength and mobility, resulting in diminished pain for her clients. She is the founder and owner of Restorative Strength, LLC which is a company that helps individuals restore their physical fitness back to where it was earlier in life. She also specializes in working with men and women who suffer from chronic pain issues or physically limiting medical conditions.

PJ is a wellness speaker and workshop facilitator who has completed 500 hrs of yoga training, is certified in Rock Steady Boxing and is an Original Strength Coach. As part of these unique fitness and wellness accomplishments, she has been featured in O Magazine, Entrepreneur, Forbes, and Fortune as well as being a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and the Yoga Alliance.

As a successful 30-year veteran in the music industry, working with Sony, MCA, and even Toby Keith’s label Show Dog, she has promoted world-renowned artists such as Tim McGraw, Elton John, and Mary J Blige. As a result of years of sitting behind her computer screen and working in a sedentary business environment PJ’s body felt the toll. This led to a big decision and an even bigger need to start living and moving differently. Realizing how much could be accomplished in just 2 weeks of simple functional movement, PJ made a huge career shift and at age 50, she began her life’s mission and her passion – to help people regain strength, remove physical limitations and restore their confidence.
