September is Healthy Aging Month
As we age, the eyes undergo various changes, including presbyopia (difficulty focusing up close), cataracts (clouding of the lens leading to blurred vision), decreased night vision and increased glare, dry eyes due to reduced tear production, and color vision changes where colors appear less bright. We may also experience floaters (spots or specks) and flashes of light, loss of peripheral vision, and an increased need for brighter lighting to see clealy.
