In 2024, the Springpoint Foundation launched the Michael Gentile Employee Education and Advancement Fund—an initiative dedicated to investing in the growth and success of our front-line and hourly team members at The Atrium At Navesink Harbor.

Through this fund, The Atrium team members have access to:
✨ Scholarships for career certifications
✨ Funding for advanced training and professional development
✨ Salary support while completing education programs

As team members build their skills and advance their careers, our residents benefit too—through enhanced programs, enriched daily experiences, and even stronger care and support. It’s all part of our commitment to a community where everyone thrives—at work and at home.

This Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating the incredible women who help make Springpoint communities thrive—like Kayla Johnson, the Admission Coordinator at Wi******er Gardens.

Admission Coordinators play a crucial role throughout Springpoint. They are often the first point of connection for families and residents, setting the tone for a welcoming, compassionate, and informed experience. Their warmth, positivity, and dedication not only guide prospective residents but also support our entire team in creating vibrant, caring communities every day.

We’re proud to recognize Charles "Charlie" Stehlik, Maintenance Supervisor at Allaire Crossing, a Springpoint affordable housing community, as the latest recipient of the Spirit Award.

During this winter’s harsh conditions, Charlie not only kept the community running safe and smoothly—he also stepped in to help during a recent snowstorm, guiding the electric company to a remote home during a minor emergency. Only afterward did he learn that the person he assisted was a fellow Springpoint team member!

Thank you, Charlie, for always going above and beyond to support others. 👏 The Springpoint Foundation presented the award during a recent visit to the community.

At Springpoint, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthy, fulfilling life—and that stable, supportive housing is a critical part of that foundation.

Through the Springpoint Foundation’s Community Cares program, and thanks to the generosity of residents, company partners, organizations, and our dedicated team members, we are able to support residents living at or below the poverty level.

Our 19 affordable housing communities greatly benefit from initiatives designed to support health, well-being, and daily living. These include fresh produce distributions, healthy cooking demonstrations, providing essential household items, and funding to restock community food pantries.

We’re pleased to welcome Jeannine C. Simao, M.S., to the Springpoint Foundation as our new Regional Director of Major & Planned Gifts.

Jeannine brings more than 20 years of nonprofit development experience, having served with organizations including the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, the American Cancer Society, and most recently the American Heart Association. In her new role, she will support giving initiatives at two Springpoint Life Plan Communities – The Atrium At Navesink Harbor and Crestwood Manor – strengthening philanthropic partnerships that enhance the lives of residents and the communities we serve.
