🌟We’re proud to celebrate Springpoint Choice member Boden Sandstrom, a true pioneer in women’s culture and music!🌟
At the 49th annual National Women's Music Festival over the summer, Director Dee Mosbacher and Boden (co-producer) screened "Radical Harmonies" —a powerful documentary highlighting the Women’s Music Cultural Network from the early 1970s through the 1990s. Later that evening, Boden and Dee were honored with the Jeanine C. Rae Award for the Advancement of Women’s Culture.
Boden’s connection to NWMF runs deep. She was the sound engineer for the very first festival in 1974, and her company, Woman Sound (later City Sound Productions), provided audio support for many years after—helping shape the sound and spirit of the movement itself.
A trailblazing audio engineer, Boden helped define the women’s music movement in America, supporting countless concerts, festivals, marches, and protests. Her career also includes academic excellence, award-winning scholarship, and years as a lecturer and technical coordinator at the University of Maryland.
👏 Join us in honoring Boden’s inspiring journey and incredible accomplishments—we’re so grateful she’s part of the Springpoint Choice community!
