**Join Us in Supporting the Peace Pantry!**

We’re kicking off a community-wide food drive to help stock the shelves of the Peace Pantry, and we need YOUR help to make it a success!

How You Can Help:
We're collecting non-perishable food items to support families in need. Every can, box, and bag makes a difference!

There are several fun and meaningful ways to get involved:
- Decorate a Donation Box– Add some creativity and love to our collection bins!
- Deliver a Box to a Location– Help us place donation boxes at local businesses, schools, and churches.
- Monitor a Box Location– Check in weekly to collect donations and keep the area tidy.
- Assist with cataloging the drop offs– Coordinate with the Peace Pantry volunteers.

Whether you have an hour or a whole day, your time and energy can make a real impact.

Over the weekend, the New Bern Pride Board of Directors held a leadership retreat to set our direction moving forward. It was a retreat only in the sense that we stepped away from our lives for a whole day of focus.

We are putting our energy into building out plans for the next few months, so our event schedule will be a little lighter. That being said, change is coming, and it’s all about what we can do to grow this organization into the resource it needs to be. We’re working on new opportunities, more ways to volunteer, and stronger support for our community.

A new trans health survey was just published by Point of Pride, if anyone is interested in contributing.

"This survey is about centering trans people in conversations about our healthcare. We're calling on trans people age 18+ across the country to share their stories of care, challenges, and visions for a better future. Your responses are completely confidential and will help drive real change in how care is delivered and experienced."
