“Dear Body, I’m sorry I haven’t treated you well. After everything you’ve done for me, you would think I’d be a bit more grateful. From running and playing as a child to being on the track team in high school, to carrying three babies, conquering cancer, and more—I should be thanking you.”
Sometimes, in our quest to keep up or attain perfection, we forget that each scar tells a story. We forget that each flaw is connected with a memory that got us exactly where we are today. A woman’s body is one of the most magnificent things on earth, and being a certain size or shape is not what makes it magnificent. Whenever you’re feeling down about the way your body looks, try to remember what it’s done for you and what it’s given you. ❤️ *excerpt taken from www.herviewfromhome.com
