❌❌ Changing what you eat won’t heal your body.
This is what my doctor 👨🏻⚕️ told me 🤦🏻♀️ when I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s 🦋 (an autoimmune thyroid disease) 13 years ago.
He said my only option was synthetic medication 💊 for the rest of my life... and eventually my thyroid would need to be 🔪 removed.
My autoimmune antibodies🩸showed that my white blood cells were attacking me instead of healing me and there was nothing I could do.
I was crushed.
It would take many years of frustration 😭 and symptoms before I was completely fed up. I was willing to do anything to reduce inflammation and stop the white blood cells from attacking me.
I removed gluten 🌾 and started to feel better. But I was still dealing with these symptoms:
1️⃣ Bloating 🙋🏻♀️ and constipation.
2️⃣ Acne🧍🏻♀️like a teenager.
3️⃣ Irregular menstrual 🔴 cycle.
4️⃣ Exhausted 😴 all day long.
5️⃣ Energy pills 💊 to stay awake.
6️⃣ Random 🤷🏻♀️ weight gain.
7️⃣ Mood 😍😭😬🤬 swings.
8️⃣ Brain 💭 fog.
I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.
So, I finally went all in. I ❌ removed inflammatory foods and added ☑️ in gut-healing foods like ginger 🟡, turmeric 🟠, collagen 🐄 and bone broth 🦴. I forced myself to sleep 😴 more and manage stress better. Within a few days the brain 💭 fog lifted.
I woke up with energy ⚡️ for the first time in years. Then, my tummy bloat was gone. My interest in being active 🚲 🧗🏻♀️ 🛼 returned. And every morning, I continued to wake with energy.
Within a few months my antibodies dropped 📉. Fast forward ⏩ 3.5 years and they are now consistently so low that my autoimmune diseases 🧬 and viruses 🦠 are now in 💫 complete remission and I have no autoimmune symptoms.
➕I do take a natural thyroid supplement 💊, but my white blood cells are no longer attacking me. 🙏🏻
As I have shared my story 📕, many of you asked for help. I knew that we needed to do something.
➡️ Madison and I spent months 🎉🎉 building the Autoimmune Sisters 21 Day Anti-Inflammatory Plan to introduce you to the same methods I used.
