Perth Amboy High School Community Resource Fair was a success last Wednesday on Earth Day. A high number of vendors from the community were there to help Perth Amboy and surrounding areas residents to learn about resources available to them to improve their daily life and needs. Middlesex County EFNEP supervisor Dr. Stacy Onofrietti and educator, Mabelle Riquelme were present to show the residents about our nutrition education and physical activity programs.

Our Blanquita Valenti School programs are underway again this Spring for more 7th graders not covered in the Fall programs. Here Rebeca, one of the educators of two programs at this school, makes Banana Oatmeal Pancakes and does our sugary drinks lesson with the youth.

Rebeca starts a new site program at Middlesex County STEM Charter School for 8th graders. The program will lead with our Rev IT Up curriculum for teens which engages them in activities to motivate them to participate and learn further knowledge on nutrition and physical activity.
