There are plenty of items around the house that appeal to kids. You just have to know where to look! 👀 The fact that they aren’t true toys makes kids want to play with them even more! Potato mashers are so good for those little developing hands!

Rush Hour is an old time favorite! 🚗🚙

Growing up, this game kept me busy for hours. During my OT sessions kids are constantly requesting it! Rush Hour has challenges of increasing difficulty and it’s a great way to not only entertain your kids but also work on:

✅Visual perception
✅Problem solving
✅Critical thinking
✅Sustained attention

The very first step, just setting the cars up, gets your kid’s wheels turning! This also means your kid can grow with this game and have it for years.

PS: That also means keeping money in your pocket 😌

This is an excellent toy for kids! What makes it even more fun is that the creations are unlimited. Start out simple and level up each time. Build models that your kids can copy. Create building challenges to see who can make the tallest tower or the longest bridge.
