There’s a lot of noise out there about ancestral healing lately. But for many of us (especially those of us with roots in Black, Brown, Indigenous, and diasporic communities) this work isn’t a trend.
It’s a remembering. A return. A reclamation.
I recently wrote a blog post that feels like one of the most personal pieces I’ve shared publicly. It’s the story of how I first heard the call to ancestral healing in the most unexpected way, and how that call has shaped my life, my work, and my entire way of being.
It’s not a list of tools or tips. It’s a real moment from my life.
And maybe it’s one you’ve felt some version of too.
Because let’s be honest -
So many of us have been taught to silence the whispers. To flatten our truth.
To heal only in ways that are clinical, convenient, and culturally disconnected.
But healing rooted in lineage, love, and liberation?
That’s a different kind of medicine.
If you’ve ever felt like your healing is about more than just you
If you’ve ever sensed that your Ancestors are guiding you
If you’ve ever wanted to bring more depth, reverence, and soul into your work
This is for you.
