Huge gratitude to Nick Di Maria and the New Haven Jazz Underground! Nick, who is a dedicated teacher at New Haven's Truman School, along with the New Haven Jazz Underground, collected a bounty of warm socks for school children as well as neighboring organizations that serve the homeless. Warm socks may seem like a small thing, but they bring comfort to our clients, and he truly understands the power of giving to the community.

Thank you to United Illuminating, Southern Connecticut Gas, and Connecticut Natural Gas for awarding us a generous grant this morning at the AVANGRID Award Ceremony! This grant, made possible by Connecticut's Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA), will help us reduce our energy costs, allowing us to focus on supporting individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, addiction, or homelessness in rebuilding meaningful lives.
