I was thrilled to be invited back to Shoreline Psychological LLC last week! I presented on Autism: Misdiagnoses and Missed Diagnosis. The clinicians here are such a delight to talk with, and we parsed out different ways of being neuroaffirming both diagnostically and therapeutically. I would recommend them to anyone seeking expertise in DBT or evaluation. Dr. Abby Lipschutz has assembled a powerful team and her investment in them is evident. Thank you for this opportunity!

Halloween has always been a favorite holiday for me, I love getting crafty with pumpkins and costumes. In England people used to carve turnips as jack o lanterns- as hard as it is to carve a pumpkin, I imagine turnips take more effort!

The more I facilitate groups, the more I get feedback about how sorely needed they are! Different groups provide different experiences, and fill different needs. My groups are closed and time limited, giving participants a chance to “go deep” and get vulnerable if they want to. Some folks prefer to mostly listen, and nonspeaking members are encouraged to actively participate via chat.
