Many of us are dealing with deep pain and so often as men we are reluctant to share that pain because of the way we are socialized. Grieving is seen as weak. Tears and vulnerability from men is looked down on. Let’s free ourselves from these destructive ideas. Black obsidian is a space of deep belonging for people who identify as black and as men. I have been coaching in some fashion for more than 10 years now. Some challenges in life ultimately gave me the opportunity to be intentional about my next pursuit and I knew coaching was it for me. One of my greatest joys is the opportunity to be with and “see” people for the beautiful and strong change makers that they are, even when they don’t see that for themselves. I am dedicated to helping people live a fulfilling life and align their values with action.
