Greetings Café for kids is an organization with a mission to put kid friendly cafeterias in hospitals around the world, were a kid can be a kid while living with unexplained illnesses. Offering a kid a lollypop to welcome them into the hospital is so 1970's. Today that sort of a deal just doesn't cut it anymore. Instead of bribery through confectionary, these children's hospitals and other hospitals around the world need to reinvent the concept of infirmary and transform a space into inFUNery, adorned with cheerful and fun cafeterias that will cater to our children. Many of these hospitals to date have more than one cafeteria and not one of them is kid friendly. Café for kids can map out themes for each and every hospital. Each café will use decor and medical equipment that is colorful, creative looking and non-threatening, with our large glass windows will be a major attraction to the hospitals. In patients and out patients from either side of the wards can look in to seeing an inviting cafeteria filled with vibrant colors, entertainment, healthy meals, and yes, live cartoon characters. A kid friendly-inspired café center is a far cry from fake grass, small playrooms, and enhanced playgrounds. The café can be the very foundation to many of our hospitals, and as such creates the security blanket for our children, to add unlimited living to the entire structure. Diseases can be our spiritual flat tires disruption in our lives that always seem to be disasters at that time, but always end by redirecting our lives some in meaningful ways like Cafe for Kids as we survive every moment. Every problem has in it the seeds of its own solution. The difficulties of life are intended to make our children better not bitter. Our cafés will bring warmth which children of all ages will respond to. Dream Blossoms grow out of the cafe and create eating areas for the kids to enjoy and eat in. Some of our children never get the chance to ever go home again, by focusing on the Holistic care as well as the Chemically Induced Care, a smile can and will go a long way. I know personally after the demise of my 4 year old daughter Shanice Ashley Martinez and great nephew Nasir Ernest Johnson Were their second home and final residents was Yale New Haven Hospital, but we just do not want to stop there. Let’s talk financially, were many of the children’s parents are unable to work due to the 24 hour care of their sick child or children. Most parents can barely keep a roof over their heads unable to feed their family’s heat their home or keep the lights on. Once again I know personally with the 24 hour care of my daughter who suffered for 3 years from life threating asthma a pulmonary disease that was so severe and years later with the 24 hour care of my great nephew who suffered for 8 months from brain cancer after being diagnosed with a tumor. I couldn’t work anymore and eventually I had to take me and my children to live with family members but not all get the luxury of having somewhere to go. In the future cafe for kids will help and lift the stress off most if not many parents. Café for kids is a wonderful organization that will keep striving to make a difference one child, one adult, and one community at a time. Now how awesome is that But again we will not stop there. Let’s talk out of hospitals and the choices for our kid friendly restaurants, where both parents and kids can enjoy a meal and an environment which caters to both are rare finds. McDonalds and other restaurants with children play areas have probably lost count of how many times a child has gotten hurt. In a café for kids restaurant, will be a child and parents dream like kid friendly restaurant to exists. Café for kids will be a restaurant where parents, outerwear and even business people can enjoy a meal and co-exist without complaint. Children feel the sense of independence by being seated in a kid’s area within mom and dad’s view. There at café for kids they can order from their very own menu while seated at their specially designed kids table with their very own favorite cartoon character as their waiter or waitress. The secret to the restaurants success is the use of space and smiles towards making a difference one child at a time. Café for kids will be careful in separating these eating spaces while still allowing a parent to keep an eye on their child. Our light spacious rooms will create the impression of separation, while keeping safety in mind. Our children's area and food will be so good and creative we don't need to promote it by adding in any free toys. Café for kids were living is unlimited.
