Having started with handful of supporters, now after a decade, we are fortunate to have had the adulation and support of many well wishers all along. The India Vision Foundation began its work inside the prison, by setting up a bread making unit within the Prison, for the welfare of the inmates. The profits earned went to the Prisoner's Welfare Fund. The India Vision Foundation also set up a Plant Nursery where rare saplings were grown and marketed outside. The proceeds again went to the welfare fund. The Foundation also made a video documentary on the life and reforms in Tihar Jail, with a view to promote the efforts of reformation and generation of community support. Projects outside the prison began with providing education and rehabilitation to children of prisoners in its " Crime Home Children " project. Our projects namely Tihar Prison, Children of Vulnerable Families ,Amritsar Projects ,Haryana Prison ,Safer India, India Police Scholarship For Deserving Students and Reeta Peshawaria Menon Fellowship support our varied objectives of Police Reforms ,Prison Reforms ,Women Empowerment, Rural and Community Development ,Disability and De-addiction Management ,Sports Promotion etc. G30 FOR INDIA VISION FOUNDATION INC was established in New York, USA in 2012 under the founding leadership of Pam Kwatra & Eric Kumar, to expand and support the horizons of India Vision Foundation and is responsible for managing and supporting activities across the United States. We are also obliged to other organizations, Corporate Houses; individuals who have shown concern for the cause and have always encouraged us to move forward.
