Mamas, here are some of my simple daily routines / swaps to avoid disrupting your hormone balance. Do what you can, when you can. It doesn't have to be perfect, you just have to start. Here for you! 🤍
✨Stress Management: lower cortisol!
- 4/7/8 breathing: breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds, hold for 7 and exhale slowly for 8x
- Get out in Nature/Grounding
- Laughter & Connection
- Herbs: ashwagandha & rhodiola have been shown to help manage cortisol levels
✨Diet: fruits, veggies, legumes, healthy fats (omega 3s, magnesium, vitamin C)
✨Optimize Sleep: limit stimulants, avoid screen time 2 hours prior to bedtime & journal or read instead
✨Avoid BPAS, PFAs, Parabens: switch to glass tupperware & toss plastic, switch to frangrance-free products, plant based cleaning products, etc.
✨Avoid Pesticides: be mindful of what you're ingesting and switch to organic when possible
