Advancing Mental Health Through Innovation & Education

Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital was proud to host a recent presentation for our social workers and therapists, led by Dr. Radzevicius, on Understanding Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) which is an innovative, noninvasive treatment option for individuals struggling with depression and other mental health conditions.

Dr. Radzevicius provided valuable insight into how TMS works by stimulating targeted areas of the brain to help improve mood regulation and overall mental wellness. The session fostered engaging discussion and deepened our clinical team’s understanding of advanced therapeutic interventions that support patient recovery and quality of life.

We’re grateful to Dr. Radzevicius and his team for sharing their expertise and to our dedicated clinicians for their continued commitment to learning and compassionate care.

Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital was honored to stand alongside the New Lenox Safe Communities America Coalition at this year’s Kankakee Out of the Darkness Walk, an event dedicated to raising awareness, fostering hope, and remembering those whose lives have been impacted by su***de. Our Director of Business Development, Brittany Ringo, proudly represented Silver Oaks and connecting with community members throughout the day.

The walk was led by Marie Kress of the Manhattan Wellness Center, and both Brittany and Marie were connected through Alaina Murphy, Administrative Analyst for the Village of New Lenox.
