*tap tap* is this thing on 🎤

It’s been awhile but your girl has been BUSY! This past weekend Geaux Girl Giving Collective hosted our first inaugural summit! It was such a beautiful experience to convene and pour into Black women leaders working in the nonprofit/philanthropy space.

This is a testament of audacity and purpose and when those two things are combined magic can happen. I had the audacity to dream up a space where Black women could connect, learn and just be - as a result, The You Geaux Girl! Summit was birthed. The best part of it all - I did this with other dope Black women. Collective power is the best power! Check out a snippet of our day below and follow us on insta!

We had the most incredible welcome and wellness event, welcoming our new members and centering self care. We came together to prioritize our well-being and celebrate the power of sisterhood and giving. We started our day off with a calming sound bath to center and relax our mind and body. Then we moved into our activity blending personalized oils, bath soaks and scrubs at .apothecary Blend Bar. We fellowshipped, cried, laughed and loved on each other. The experience left us full and ready to embark on our collective work together.

Thank you .apothecary for hosting us in your beautiful space and Danielle, our sound bath practitioner. Brunch was made with love by delicious cupcakes by fresh juices from
