Louisiana brethren, I have the unenviable task of mounting a parade troupe and float anywhere besides Louisiana, in this case on the West Coast in my town of Fort Bragg, so that MATCH Disability Services and our fun-loving clients can march down Main Street (no throws allowed??!) and strut their stuff for our little world to see (classic cars?? corporate sponsorships??)

I know. I know. Up until this point I've opted out of it entirely because when you grow up in Louisiana Mardi Gras, any other parade pales by comparison.

My kid clients want to dress up as Super Mario Brothers characters to satisfy the 80s theme and our sub-theme of video game/arcade characters from the 80s. Honestly, I have so much anxiety about making a "float" from scratch out of a trailer that I'm reaching out here in hopes that my Nola-spicy friends will help us out in the costume department.

Match Jr. at their first summer camp!!! 🏕️

Last week we went to Camp Mendocino and our middle schoolers got to experience what it’s like to be a part of an outdoor summer program. They were there with other students from the Bay Area and had the opportunity to meet new people and try SO many new activities.

This is a huge stepping stone for them. They did so great and had so much fun.
