🌿 A gentle reminder as we move through January: healing, growth, and change don’t need to happen overnight.

Starting slow is still moving forward. Give yourself permission to ease in, listen to what you need, and honor your own pace.

The start of a new year often brings shifts in routines — and our nervous systems feel that.

If you’re noticing more irritability, it may be a sign your body is dysregulated and asking for support.

Small, steady practices like eating regularly, moving your body, and slowing down can help bring you back into a regulated state.
This year, let your routines support your nervous system — not pressure it. 🙌

The ☀️ shining amidst winter… I’ll take it! A gentle reminder to love on yourself, move your body (even if just walking or stretching👍🏻), and get some Vitamin D. All of the above help boost happy chemicals in our brain like dopamine and serotonin! I don’t know about you but I am all about feeling 🧘🏻‍♀️🤗

Check out this awesome FREE resource in our community this week!!! Great for parents and their littles looking for something to do/somewhere to get out their energy 🤗

As we begin the new year, I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself! I’m Pam—owner and operator of The Playgarden, wife of 16 years, proud mom to two amazing boys, and fur mom to a dog and three cats. 🐾💙

What started after 12 years as a stay-at-home mom has grown into a small business that has truly filled my heart. Watching The Playgarden grow, meeting so many wonderful families, and seeing all the smiling little ones has been such a special journey. I couldn’t have done any of this without the constant love, encouragement, and hands-on help from my husband and children. Being able to build and share this dream alongside them has made it even more special.

I’m incredibly grateful and excited to continue offering a clean, safe space where your children can play, learn, and have fun.Thank you all so much for your continued support and kindness—it truly means the world to me.

To celebrate the new year and to give back to this amazing community, I’m offering Free Community Play this week! I can’t wait to see you and your little ones. 💛

Yesterday we shared a bit about the therapies offered in our Creative Therapies track, and one we’re often asked about is somatic therapy.

If you’re not quite sure what somatic therapy means, you’re not alone. Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between the mind and body, helping people process stress, trauma, and emotions through increased body awareness—not just talk.

This article from Medical News Today does a great job explaining what somatic therapy is, how it works, and who it may benefit:

✨ We’re proud to have therapists on our team who specialize in somatic therapy and incorporate body-based approaches into their work.

The new year is a chance to reconnect—with yourself, your body, and your creativity. ✨

Our Creative Therapies track offers meaningful ways to heal beyond words, including art therapy, music therapy, dance/movement therapy, and somatic therapy. These approaches invite expression, regulation, and growth through creativity and embodied experience.

If you’re ready to explore a different path toward healing this year, we’d love to walk alongside you.

✨ Happy New Year from all of us at reNEW YOU Counseling and Wellness ✨

As we step into 2026, we’re taking a moment to reflect with gratitude on all that 2025 held. This past year brought meaningful growth, deeper connections, and the expansion of services that allow us to better support our community.

In 2025, we were proud to introduce:

* Psychological assessments for Autism and ADHD
* Comprehensive neuropsychological assessments
* Medication management services

Each addition reflects our continued commitment to meeting clients where they are and providing thoughtful, comprehensive care.

Thank you to our clients, families, and community partners for trusting us and walking alongside us this year. We’re excited to continue this work, support new goals, and grow together in 2026.

Here’s to a year of healing, clarity, and hope ahead.

Dear Valued Clients, Partners, Friends, and Family,

As we come to the close of 2025, we want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredibly meaningful year for our practice. This year brought growth, expansion, and recognition—made possible by the trust of our clients, the dedication of our team, and the support of our community.

One of the most exciting parts of 2025 was our continued expansion of services to better meet the needs of those we serve. This year, we proudly introduced:

•Music Therapy, now offered with Tim Weaver and our Creative Therapies track
•Psychological Assessments with Dr. Rachael Keyser, PsyD
•Neuropsychological Assessments with Dr. Sara Fried, PsyD, PMH-C
•Medication Management with Megan Day, CRNP

We also began accepting Highmark and Aetna insurance, increasing accessibility to care for more individuals and families.

We are deeply honored to have our work recognized again this year:

•Best Mental Health Champion – 2025 Love Award, presented at the Main Line Love Awards (second year in a row)
•Montgomery County’s Best Outpatient Facility – 2025 Happening List (second year in a row)
•2025 Business Impact Award from A Haven – Center for Grieving Families

These awards reflect our team’s commitment to compassionate, high-quality mental health care—and we are truly grateful.

Throughout the year, we experienced steady growth in our client base and welcomed several new clinicians to our team. We also stayed actively engaged in our community by:

•Representing A Haven during Blue Out for Children’s Grief Awareness
•Participating in a Food Drive with Operation 143
•Attending the North Penn School District Wellness Fair
•Hosting team-building events, including a Summer Solstice gathering with The Healing Fawn and a festive holiday dinner at The Copperfield Inn
•Sharing some fun along the way with our Pumpkin Decorating Contest

We also launched our blog (www.renewyoucounseling.org/blog) and email newsletter (sign up here: http://eepurl.com/iCx4wQ) this year—new ways to share resources, reflections, and updates beyond the therapy room.

2025 also marked a special milestone: our 6th year in business. We are incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and even more excited about what lies ahead.

And most importantly, THANK YOU for being part of our journey—whether as a client, colleague, referral partner, or community supporter. We look forward to continuing to grow, serve, and support mental health in the year ahead.

With lots of love and appreciation,
Alexandra (Alex) Pomponio and the team at reNEW YOU Counseling and Wellness
