Anna Louise James (1886 - 1977). Anna James was a the first woman to graduate from the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy in 1908. She continued making history as the first licensed woman pharmacist in Connecticut (ACPHS, 2024). James was known in the community for her generosity and finding ways to make sure that people could get their medications (WVUSM, 2022). At Kenner Discount Pharmacy (KDP) we are community oriented, and like James have a commitment to the community.
