Titer testing is the one thing that the veterinary industry should do, but usually doesn't. I KNOW that titer testing saves lives, and prevents vaccine injuries (triggering of allergies, autoimmune disease, immune system dysregulation, a range of chronic diseases, up to and including death from things like Immune Mediated Haemolytic Anemia).

It's a simple blood test that measure the levels of antibodies in the blood. If your pet still has enough antibodies, revaccination does NOTHING but expose your pet to the risk of harm.

If your pets have adequate antibodies, then those antibodies interfere with the vaccine. So these so-called 'boosters' do nothing to increase your pet's level of protection a lot of the time.

WHY?

Because the core vaccines (C3 for dogs, F3 for cats) give a LONG-LASTING IMMUNITY of at least 5-7 years, and often a whole lot longer. Sometimes lifelong!

One problem is that a lot of vets send their titer tests out to external labs, which makes them VERY expensive. I use an in-house test kit. It makes it affordable. Any vet hospital can stock and use these kits.

So it's YOUR JOB to advocate for your pets and ask your vets to get the Biogal Vaccicheck in-house test kits in, so they can give you affordable titer testing, in-house.

If your vets are not open to this, just KEEP ON ASKING - the more that everyone who loves their pets asks their vets to make these tests affordable and accessible, the better!

I'm not anti-vax. They work. They protect from these deadly diseases. There is undeniable, robust, repeated evidence that proves this. I've seen too many dogs die from parvo to not know that vaccines can save lives. And yes, there are alternatives - message me if you want to know more about that!

The bottom line is that you should ALWAYS titer before revaccinating for the core (C3 + F3) vaccines. No ifs, no buts. I wish this was taught at vet schools, and an industry-wide standard!

This is your sign if your dog struggles with itching or skin problems. We do things differently here.Tortilla came to us on anti fungals for 2 years. Her gut was trashed and her skin was in poor condition. She would scratch until she bled💔. These are the first couple of pictures.
We started healing her gut, adding moisture to her skin daily with our custom topicals. We changed her diet. We performed weekly skin treatments. We added herbs and supplements to support her not suppress her natural ability to heal.

But more than the skin… we calmed her mind. Do you know how horribly awful these itchy, miserable dogs live? If you are constantly treating your dog’s bad skin, I can promise you they don’t feel comfortable and happy. Having problem skin is physically and emotionally sad for them. Clients are always so happy when we fix their dog’s skin but the biggest thing that makes me smile is their dog’s eyes. I can see the worry and stress turn to happiness in my patient’s eyes.

The veterinary industry is increasingly dominated by corporate interests. In the UK, 60% of vet practices are owned by just six major corporate groups. In the USA, over 30% of clinics are corporately owned, generating more than 50% of the industry's revenue. This raises questions about rising costs, biased recommendations, and the fading voice of independent vets.

I remember being a small kid riding my bike along a highway and watching someone throw a box with a kitten out his fast moving car. I raced my bike over to see if the kitten was still alive. Barely💔. As a child, I don’t ever remember thinking about that animal abuser. My every brain cell was focused on healing this kitten. And I did. She lived into her 20s🤩.

I have always felt like a protector of animals…. a champion for what’s best for them. And when it comes to the abuse cases.. well it’s an entirely different level of protection. Animals are pure and innocent and truly some of God’s most amazing gifts in this world.

I can’t imagine dragging a puppy by its neck so that she would sacrifice her feet trying to stand to breath. I don’t know what kind of sick, twisted f*%^ has the capacity to do that. I am, however, deeply grateful she landed in my path for part of her healing journey. If you want a doctor to help you with an abuse case, I’m here for it. I know it’s something I’m meant to do in life. If any local shelters need my help with animals suffering from starvation, fear from constant physical abuse, neglect, trauma.. we have a program called Natural Cares where we do a certain number of these cases free of charge. It’s our give back. Tag your shelters 🐾
