Mandy is truly one of a kind. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuine, treating both patients and coworkers with deep respect and kindness. She never seeks recognition. She simply does what needs to be done, whether that’s helping her PCTs, supporting fellow nurses, or stepping in wherever she’s needed.

Mandy brings heart and soul to her work every single day. She shows up with a smile, encourages laughter, listens without judgment, and makes everyone feel like part of the team. If she’s not at work, everyone notices. After 25 years of nursing, Mandy has earned the respect of all who know her. She’s an incredible nurse, coworker, and friend, and we are so grateful to have her. 💙

Expecting and want to learn ways to safely support your body during pregnancy? Join us for a free Early Prenatal Health & Wellness Seminar on Tuesday, April 14 from 9:30–11 am.

This class is open to the public and designed for early pregnancy. Participants will learn about safe stretches and pregnancy‑friendly yoga positions to help promote comfort, strength, and relaxation throughout pregnancy.🧘‍♀️

RN Senior Director Patient Care Services, Lacy Brown and RN Clinical Educator, Alicia Ault joined WVUE FOX 8 this morning to share more about West Jefferson’s recent recognition as AORN’s Center of Excellence in Surgical Safety: Prevention of RSI—a timely conversation as the global AORN Conference kicks off this weekend in New Orleans, right here at home.

West Jefferson is proud to be the only hospital in Louisiana to achieve this national designation, which reflects our surgical team’s ongoing commitment to patient safety through advanced training, enhanced protocols, and strong collaboration with our physician partners. Our team will be recognized for this accomplishment during the conference.

We had a great time at the Crescent City Classic on Saturday!🏃✨

Team West Jeff had over 100 runners/walkers, and we raised over $4,500 for our Family Birth Place! Thank you to all our volunteers, charity participants, and general runners!💙

Tomorrow, our West Jeff Foundation Charity Team will hit the pavement for the Crescent City Classic, and we couldn’t be more excited!🏃‍♀️✨

This year, they’re running in support of our Family Birth Place—a special part of our hospital where so many family stories begin. Our Family Birth Place team is cheering on our runners with a homemade banner created by one of our own LPNs, Holly Ayo Hue x Haus, as they raise funds to support compassionate, high‑quality care for families in our community.💙

Honoring one of our own.💙

One of our own Paramedics, Kimberly Nguyen, proudly represented LCMC Health and West Jefferson alongside JPSO Deputy Kayla Ranatza-Doyle at a wreath-laying ceremony in Arlington, VA. The ceremony was held for the National Service Animals Monument at the Military Women’s Memorial, honoring JPSO K-9 Macho and all service animals who have faithfully served alongside their handlers.🚑🐾

We are proud to call Kimberly Nguyen one of our own, representing West Jefferson and LCMC Health with the highest honor.💙
