Sometimes life can feel so overwhelming, like everything is swallowing us whole all at once, in every way. In those moments, the best act of self-care and honoring is to find our center.

Connect to the core of our being, the humanity in us that is not separate from all other things and people, but the part of us that resonates with every other being on the planet, the part that makes us feel not so alone.

Sometimes that’s being in nature, putting your feet in the grass, hands in the dirt. Drink some water. Listen to really deep, vibrational music or frequencies. REST. Rest in sleep or rest in fun and laughter and joy. Ask what you truly need and make the effort to give it to yourself.

It may seem like an unnecessary effort or like an unimportant part of your otherwise hectic, much busier schedule. But I promise the reward of the peace and soundness of mind you might gain are worth it.
