We are proud to announce Ochsner Health has partnered with world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center to create Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center. This partnership will provide patients in the region access to cancer treatments that are among the most advanced in the nation.

Through this collaboration, Ochsner is the first and only provider in Louisiana with a fully integrated cancer program based on MD Anderson’s standards and treatment plans.

Ochsner’s patients will benefit from this combined expertise with a multidisciplinary team of surgical, medical and radiation oncologists, nurses and support specialists. Patients will receive care based on the same protocols and practice standards at MD Anderson, as this partnership is a full clinic integration. This means Ochsner will be part of MD Anderson Cancer Network®, a program of MD Anderson, participate in clinical trials and have direct access to MD Anderson physicians and research teams.

Joining with MD Anderson will also enhance and benefit our recruitment efforts to bring new physicians, researchers and clinicians to our program.

Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center patients can receive care at seven locations across New Orleans, St. Tammany Parish and Baton Rouge. Those are:

• The Gayle and Tom Benson Cancer Center at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans
• St. Tammany Cancer Center—A Campus of Ochsner Medical Center in Covington
• Ochsner Medical Center- Kenner
