At New Orleans East Hospital, we’re committed to providing the advanced care our
community deserves.

We are proud to expand our imaging services to include two
vital new screenings:
• CT Heart Calcium Score Screening – A simple, non-invasive scan to help assess
your heart health and risk for coronary artery disease.
• MRI Prostate – Precision imaging for enhanced diagnostic accuracy and peace
of mind.

How to Get Started:
1. Talk to your physician – These exams require an order from your healthcare
provider. Discuss if these screenings are right for you at your next visit.
2. Schedule your visit – Once your order is placed, our LCMC Health Central
Scheduling team will help you select an appointment that fits your schedule.
3. View your results – No more waiting by the phone. Your results are sent directly to
your provider and uploaded to your LCMC Health MyChart portal for easy access.

When Kevin went in for a recommended colonoscopy by his primary care doctor, he felt fine. But during the procedure, Dr. Khan, Gastroenterologist at New Orleans East Hospital, discovered a blockage that turned out to be Stage I–II colon cancer.
