Nature is the most overlooked anxiety soother. Try it out next time you feel like you're wound too tight.

Go outside! It doesn't have to be elaborate. Going out to your front yard can help to ease the day's stress. It's free and it's effective.

Try... the park, the beach, a walk around the block, a community garden, a local pond, your front or back yard, a window near trees, gazing at a fish tank (even if it's just a fish tank on youtube)... there are multiple options for adding nature to your day.

This month's color of the month: Red

This month for Spiritual Tools Tuesday (On Patreon) we've been reflecting on the spiritual properties of the color red. Red has shown up in an unexpected way for me this month... it's shown up as a STOP SIGN.

I often overlook the power of the stop sign. It reminds me to slow down when I'm going to fast in life, when I need to STOP and take a break. It is a WARNING that I am about to lose my sh*t. That I am headed for a collision and there may be some damage.

The STOP SIGN also allows me to OBSERVE my surroundings. Who are the other players? Are they moving slow or barreling towards me? How do I need to adjust to remain safe.

The stop sign also tells me when it's time to check my direction because I'm coming up on an intersection in life and I may want to switch directions.

But most importantly, the stop sign allows me to be still. Take a break from constantly going going going. I can breathe, enjoy the scenery, change the station, rest my mind and prepare for the next leg of the journey.

I am grateful for this representation of RED in my life. The stop sign is a tool to regulate ourselves in the journey of life. Where are you seeing the stop sign in your life??? Did you slow down or did you hit the gas and blow the stop sign?

In my spiritual practice, sometimes when we "lose" money, we chalk it up to an "ebo", an offering given as gratitude for blessings and support. It allows us to accept a lose without anxiety and reminds us that our blessings are forever flowing in our direction. Do you think this is an example of that kind of situation? Comment below...
