Good Morning Facebook friends and loved ones!!

It's been one month since Jonathan passed away, and not a single day goes by that we don't think about him, cry or mourn.

With that said, his spirit is so strong and he has been with us each passing hour.

For his kids, I know they may not remember their Dad because they are so young, which is why we were hoping you'd help us keep his memory alive for them.

We have created a special email account for you to share your fondest memories, experiences and moments that you had with Jonathan so his children can one day read them and hopefully feel a little closer to him.
Nothing is off limits!! (You know what I mean... I want them to know of Jonathan's high school and college antics... and yes, some of the crazy things he did in professional life)

We plan on making a book for Jacques and Stella that they can treasure. You all have been wonderful to us and we are eternally grateful for your support!
Thanks in advance!!

Today was one of the hardest days of our lives.

We said a final farewell to our brother, son, cousin, friend, father and husband! However, he was so much more than that to everyone who knew him.

Jonathan Serigne knew how to light up a room, and never met a stranger.

Thank you! Thank You to all who came today to grieve with us, share in memories and just embrace in a hug.
Even though a piece of us is now missing... he is now at peace.
Fly high Batman... and always look over us.
We love you!

Thank you to everyone who’s prayed with us, supported us, and loved us throughout this journey!

Jonathan was so humbled by the overwhelming encouragement by you all! He gave it his best fight until the very end.

Tonight he left us to truly be Batman... to look over us all from Heaven and protect us. I can’t think of a better guardian.
Please keep his children and family in your prayers!

UPDATE: 9/22 - HOME SWEET MOMMAS HOME

FINALLY home since being in Houston since May 28th. And made it back in time for the Saints game!

Plenty to do with lots of appointments, so just need to get at it! But easier at my parents house since it’s flat, wood floors and no stairs. So still work for them, unfortunately, but easier here than Houston! Love being back to finally be with Randi, kids and family who have been nonstop help.

UPDATE: 9/19: ALMOST HOME

After being in the hospital for roughly 3-4 weeks due to the fever, I was released today to finally go home. Of course with this flooding, home is still the apartment and look to leave this weekend back to NOLA!

While this is great news cause I get to see my wife and kids, I don’t have the best news coming with me. For another round of chemo, my platelets need to be at 100k, and I’ve been only producing 30-40k the past week. So my body needs to do its job. Plus I’m having trouble swallowing so lots of soft foods. But faith isn’t lost. We have doctors, PT, OT and more set up to figure out alternative ways to just not go home and let this take me over. But I do need chemo to slow this down. The Ewing’s is just growing too fast, and everyone is working on a plan. Hope to know more next week.

Never give up, and per my new Gleason jersey, “No white flags!”
