POA's goal is to provide the highest quality of custom prostheses and orthoses. People of all ages and activity levels are welcomed at POA.

POA uses the most advanced techniques known to aid in the fabrication, fitting and alignment process of prostheses and orthoses. We strive to make the best fitting prostheses and orthoses for our patients whether to help them move around their homes, run marathons, and/or be active members in their communities. POA's passion is in the success of our patients. Our staff is committed to providing th

e highest quality of life to our patients by ensuring their satisfaction in their custom prostheses/orthoses and living their life without limits. We strive to achieve this by our commitment to excellent patient care and our exclusive innovative technologies. We love our POA family and are proud of our patients accomplishments; therefore, all the photos you see on this website are of are actual patients using their custom devices in and around their communities. POA's priority is the care and comfort of our patients. We have designed our facility so that we can provide the utmost care and comfort to our patients. Key elements of the design of our facility include:

- An open floor plan for gait training and
analysis
- On-site fabrication
- Lounge area with Wi-Fi access
- Golf simulator
- Various fitness equipment available for
patient use

Customer service and satisfaction are important to us, and we pride ourselves on providing a family friendly atmosphere. We encourage our patients and their families to meet and socialize with each other and have even witnessed many new friendships created in our POA community. We recognize that the camaraderie and sharing of experiences helps create a positive vibe for our patients and provides support to others with limb loss or other disabilities a sense of community and belonging which is invaluable, no matter where you are in the recovery process.

Had to share this beautiful post by Jeanne-Avery: In honor of national cancer survivor month I would like to share these photos. They mean more to me than I can ever fully explain.

When I was a little girl battling cancer, I never imagined that this dream would come true. I wore leg braces, I walked differently, and I couldn’t wear heels like the other girls and sometimes I couldn’t walk on my own. For a long time, I felt like those things disqualified me from dreams like this—dreams of being in a pageant, of feeling beautiful, of being seen not for what made me “different,” but for what made me, me.

Standing in this field, wearing this crown, and wearing this banner across my chest—it’s more than just a title. It’s proof. Proof that strength comes in many different forms. That being different doesn’t make you less—it makes you unforgettable.

I may not have walked in heels, but I walked with courage. I may have worn a brace, but I stood tall in my own way. And in the end, I didn’t just compete, I accomplished a dream that my little girl self never thought was possible.

To every girl who feels like her differences might hold her back—please hear me: They don’t. Your story, your strength, your scars, your smile—they are powerful. You can chase your dreams. You can win. And you don’t have to change who you are to do it.

This picture captures a dream come true, but it also reminds me of every step it took to get here. And I wouldn’t trade a single part of this journey.

“No one is perfect, not even a queen.” And that’s exactly what makes this moment so real, so beautiful, and so worth sharing💚

Two of our own at POA recently graduated from Zacharys senior Class of 2025– & out of over 400 students, they were chosen as Mr. & Ms. ZHS.

We’re not surprised one bit. Their charisma, positivity and kindness always shines through. This is just a testament to the inspiration they bring wherever they go!
