Yesterday we participated in the New Orleans Police Department's 8th District's Breast Cancer Survivor Walk to pay homage to breast cancer survivors. Whitney Washington, NP, spoke about Touro's advanced breast cancer treatments and prevental screenings. Together we helped to raise awareness about breast cancer detection, prevention, and treatment, featuring informative workshops led by healthcare professionals and survivors' testimonials that inspire hope.

When celebrity makeup artist Diana Ivanov-Clements found a lump in her breast at just 32, she thought her world would turn upside down. With the help of her compassionate care team at Touro, she faced surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, and emergency stronger than ever.
