Behind the scenes branding shoot today 📸

Being a small business owner is a wild ride. Yes, I’m a massage therapist, but I’m also a…
… marketing professional
… SEO/content specialist
… advertising agent
… customer service rep
… accountant
… operations manager

… and the list goes on. You’re always “on the clock,” but the reward is worth every hat that gets worn and minute spent working behind the scenes.

Thankful for my former business career that’s helped set me up for success as well as a very talented sister-in-law who makes all my photography ideas come to life!🙏

One of the most common questions I hear is, “Is massage actually safe during cancer?”

If you’ve ever wondered this or felt unsure whether massage was even an option for you/your loved one, I wrote this blog post with you in mind.

This isn’t a list of rules or benefits you can find anywhere else. It’s my perspective as an oncology massage therapist on why I’m so passionate about this work, and why safety, permission, and presence matter so much.💚

Part V: Breathing Technique Series - the final video in this series

✨ Just Notice ✨

Notice in times of stress, does your breath change? Do you breathe quickly? Do you inhale through your mouth instead of your nose? Do you hold your breath?

Notice your breath when you’re relaxed. Is your breathing even? Are your exhales long? Are you sending your breath to your belly instead of your chest?

As we become more aware of the nuances of our breathing, we can begin to utilize our breath to help us shift into a calmer state of being when we need it most.

I wasn’t expecting to end 2025 with a sick baby, but tis the season.

I’m eternally grateful for a career that allows me the flexibility to stay home and put my family first when it matters most. This year was full of learning and growth, a lot of trial and error, and most importantly, an abundance of care and love - all as a new mom, wife, massage therapist, and business owner.

All I can say is thank you…

… if you booked an appointment with me this year,

… if you referred friends or family to my office,

… if you were patient with scheduling, reschedules, and pricing changes,

… if you supported my work in any way big or small this year,

from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!

I never take it lightly that you chose to be here, trusting me with your body, your pain, and your time. This work means so much to me, and I look forward to continuing to serve my clients and my community.

I wish you all a new year filled with healing, happiness, peace, and abundance. Here’s to 2026!

With love,
Lynneah

Jumping on the trend…

If 28-year-old Lynneah could see me now, she’d be shocked but also so proud of the life and family she created🥰

While I’m happily content with where I’m at now, I know that change and growth are inevitable and necessary, and I can’t wait to see where the next 3 years take me.🌱

PART II: Breathing Technique Series

✨3-part Breath✨

✅Step 1: Inhaling through the nose, send your breath to the deepest part of your abdomen, feeling your belly rise with each inhale, and feeling your belly pull back toward your spine with each exhale. Use full, long inhales and exhales.

✅Step 2: Inhaling through the nose, send your breath to the sides of your abdomen and feel your rib cage expand with each inhale, then exhale completely.

✅Step 3: Fill your lungs with air and feel your chest rise with each inhale, then exhale completely.

✅Step 4: Combine steps 1-3. Inhaling through your nose, send your breath deep within your belly, expanding through your rib cage, then filling your lungs with air. Exhale completely and let all the air empty from your abdomen and chest.

✅Step 5: Repeat as many times as needed to calm the mind and relax the body.

P.S. No, I don’t talk that fast…video sped up for viewing purposes😉
