My paintings are color and shape based with an intuitive process. The process of being present and unafraid to ‘mess it up’ in each step along the way is of the upmost importance to me. Also while looking to achieve a contrasting, interest provoking feel yet balance between static strong opaque areas of color and moving lines and parts. Hi, I'm Lauren. I create original Abstract Art. My art is colorful, fun, quirky and affordable. I am also an energy healing nerd and use energy work for myself and others to open up the creative flow. I use Mindfulness practices in my painting, being present and allowing that moment to flow, as opposed to planning the whole thing out. I’d rather see where the moment and my intuition takes me. It usually comes out better then anything I could have planned. I paint with acrylics so this is easy to add layers and layers of fun, quirky, bold and mindful colors, shapes and lines.
