Classic Cars on Canal, in cooperation with the City of New Smyrna Beach and Canal St. Historic District (CSHD), would like to announce an operational change to the set up process for our monthly car shows starting this month. Canal St. will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 1:30 - 2:30 pm. No traffic will be permitted to travel in either direction during this time. During this hour, personnel from the city’s Fire and Police Departments will be working to efficiently and safely close Canal St. with traffic control barricades. At 2:30 pm, cars participating in the show will be able to enter and park on Canal street under the direction of car show representatives. Cars must be parked in legally identified spaces at all times prior to the opening of the car show. This change is being made in coordination with the city and CSHD to ensure best practices regarding public safety are in place during each and every show. These changes will be in effect for each show moving forward. Thank you for your continued support and patronage of this event. We look forward to seeing you on the 14th!”
