I have completely neglected posting cookies and I’m so sorry! I told you I’d give you an update months ago and didn’t but boy do I have an update.

Ok, here’s the short story. Since my last post in December of 2023…

… I began the new year by subbing in a 2nd grade classroom for 12 weeks. 👩‍🏫

… added a baby boy to our family in April. 👩‍🍼

… had hand surgery on my dominant hand. ✋

… packed up my house and family. 🏡

…and moved. 😭

I’ve been dreading making this post because I am so sad and disappointed in myself. I wanted so badly to get samples made and a presale up for all of you, I had so many cute designs, but life and family took precedence. I’ve just been a little overwhelmed with life and really trying to savor this Christmas season with my kids.

A few customers reached out to see if they could get some Christmas cookies and of course I said yes, but then that got me thinking… let’s try something different.
If you want to order Christmas cookies and you trust me, you tell me what you want and I’ll whip it up for you! So I’ve created a small presale that is live right now. The sale will end Sunday night!

Ok friends, I am so sorry! I thought I could do it all and I failed. How I thought I could decorate 6 dozen cookies, plan and execute two birthday parties, substitute teach three days aaaaand get a Christmas presale up and going is beyond me. 🤪🤦🏼‍♀️

So the Christmas presale will still happen it will just be short and sweet. Hopefully it will be up and running by the middle to end of the week. I’ll keep you posted!

Hi! I’m Tessa! Owner and cookie decorator at The Kuchi Naoshi! I’ve always loved to bake, though would never claim to be an expert. I’ve been decorating cookies for almost three years now! It’s time consuming but to me it’s very therapeutic.

A few things about me…

🍪 I believe that Jesus is my Savior.

🍪I was born and raised in Japan. (Missionary’s kid)

🍪I am #6 of 7 kids in my family.

🍪 I played tennis in high school and college.

🍪 I went to boarding school in WI and college in MN.

🍪I taught 1st & 2nd grade for 6.5 years.

🍪 I met my husband at the local bowling alley/bar.

🍪I’ve lived in Washington for almost as long as I lived in Japan.

🍪 I had four miscarriages before my husband and I were blessed with our twins, Sydney & August.

🍪Three years later we had Isla.

🍪After three more miscarriages, I am so excited to share that we will be welcoming baby #4 to our family in April 2024.

Hiiii!! I’ve been MIA these last couple of weeks due to family vacations but we are back and in full swing around here! The laundry pile is high, meal planning in the works, school supplies are being bought and my cookie order schedule has been updated on my website!! If you are looking to order cookies anytime between now and Christmas, head on over to my website to place an inquiry! I can’t wait to make some amazing cookies for you!

I didn’t get around to Back to School cookies, but does anyone local want some?! Let me know. If I have enough people interested I’d be happy to whip some up for you!
