Good afternoon,
We’re looking forward to seeing you at the upcoming Regional South Metro Softball competition on 7/19 at The Ponds Park in Prior Lake! Thank you so much for your participation and for everything you’ve done to get your team ready—we couldn’t do this without you.
Attached are the key documents to help you prepare:

You'll receive printed copies of the Event Registration Report and Delegation Event Schedule for your delegation at check-in. If you’d like extra copies, please print those in advance.

Competition Day Details
Check-in: Begins at 8:00 AM
Look for our table right next to the pavilion!
Venue layout:
• Please see attached map.
• Address- 17000 Ponds Pkwy SE, Prior Lake, MN 55372
• Check in and awards will be located at the pavilion.
• Games will take place in fields 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
Skills:
• Meet at field 2 at 8:50am, skills will begin promptly at 9am.
Awards:
• Awards will take place by the flagpole, just outside of the pavilion building, as divisions finish.
• If you are in a division of 3, your team will not be able to receive their award until the entire division is completed.
Meals & Supplies:
• No meals will be provided.
• As of now, concessions will be available. Please note, this may change pending the facility.
• Please bring your own food and plenty of water. Athletes may eat anywhere except on the field or in the dugout.
• Please bring a water bottle. There is a refill station located in the pavilion near the restrooms.
• Sunscreen is strongly encouraged—please plan accordingly!
Weather:
• We will continue to monitor the weather updates leading into the competition. If bad weather occurs, I plan to call all HODs. I have all HOD's phone numbers, but if there is someone else, I should include in the weather call list, please send me their name and phone number.
Animals:
• Certified Service Animals are permitted to be in attendance at any Special Olympics Competition. However, all other animals, including Emotional Support Animals, are not allowed at Special Olympics Competitions. We acknowledge and appreciate the value that Emotional Support Animals bring, but this guideline is rooted in prioritizing the health and safety of all individuals present.
• Our ultimate goal is to ensure reasonable accommodations for everyone at our competitions. As we strive for inclusivity, we will continue to assess available options and update the guideline as necessary.
