Y'all! The way God is Blessing! So thankful to be a Patient Advocate on an international grant by CRUK "Cancer Grand Challenges." I am representing the United States. This is a 25 million dollar Grant funded by both CRUK (Cancer Research UK) and the NCI (National Cancer Institute). I am a proud member of Team Prospect and we are focused on the early onset of colorectal cancer in a young people. Look out for us as we seek to decrease the number of young people being affected by this horrible disease.

Yesterday was insane. Advocates from American Cancer Society had the most amazing opportunity to visit NASDAQ at the Closing Bell to support Kevin Conroy, CEO of Exact Sciences. Advocates were invited to be guests of Mr. Conroy. Mr. Conroy led Exact Sciences through the development, clinical trial, regulatory approval, and commercialization of its noninvasive colorectal cancer screening test, Cologuard®. This noninvasive screening ultimately helps to reduce the cancer burden among colorectal cancer. Get your colonoscopy, or use Cologuard as a starting point. Colon Cancer is the second leading cause of death. I am humbled.

The Lord just keeps BLESSING! So happy to be included in the important conversation about how we can develop "Extraordinary Practices in Personalized Cancer Care" at Ohio State University. What an amazing opportunity to share my story but offer ways to improve positive patient health outcomes and relationships between the community and healthcare professionals. I met so many wonderful nurses, doctors, pharmaceutical reps, therapists etc. Excited for new partnerships in this work.

What an amazing night celebrating the 15th Anniversary of Hope Lodge. We raised $328,000.00!

I am humbled to serve on the Advisory Board for American Cancer Society Greater NYC Area. This is my first year and it's been an absolute JOY. We celebrated the 15th Anniversary/Gala of Hope Lodge, a one-of-a-kind, completely free hotel for cancer patients traveling to the 33 hospitals in New York City who refer to Hope Lodge. Happy International Women's Day! Your girl was the Keynote Speaker for Champion (athletic brand) yes Thee Champion. I'm so amazed with God! First time speaking again since the death of my husband.

So humbled...thank you to A-Speakers for pitching Lil ole me and kudos to Champion for putting the mental and physical wellness of their employess at the forefront.

Today is my 9th year CANCERVERSARY! It was March 7th 2014, on JOSHUA'S 12th birthday! when they broke the news to me that I had Stage III colon Cancer. They found a 5.7 cm tumor in the CECUM part of my colon and I would need emergency surgery.

2 weeks later I would have a Port Installation in my chest, within 2 days of that procedure, I began 12 grueling rounds of Chemotherapy, every two weeks for 48hrs!!!!!

Happy 21st Bday Joshua we made it!

Today I stand strong KICKING CANCERS A**. To all my fighters, survivors, and those whose loved ones lost their life to this horrible disease. Keep THRIVING! STAY IN THE FIGHT! , H E R Talks Today 🎗
